Meet the Team
Stacie Swaney, DVM - I founded Swaney Veterinary Clinic in 2007. I graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. I have three daughters and a grandson. In my spare time I enjoy kayaking, hiking, and mowing the yard. I have many pets including three dogs, some cats, some fish and some turtles.
Sherry Eklund - Front desk/Office manager. I have been at Swaney Veterinary Clinic for 15 years! I am a single mother of two great kids! I have four dogs ranging in all sizes from a Great Dane to a little Terrier mix, plus one cat. In my spare time I love to go camping, spending time with my family and friends, gardening, and making sourdough bread even though I'm not very good at it!
Sophie Swaney - Assistant. I have been employed at Swaney Veterinary Clinic since 2018 and I consider my position here to be that of a potpourri drone. I am a bit of a general custodian, a back-up receptionist and pharmacist, and a laboratory and surgical technician. I have some fantastic boy cats, snakes, and a bearded dragon. Outside of business hours, I enjoy such things like the non-hunting aspects of archery, reading, drawing, obtaining physical music media (tapes, records, and CDs), and maintaining/upgrading and playing my bass guitars.
Greta Swaney - Assistant. I joined the Swaney Vet team in the early summer of 2023, Here my duties include cleaning, walking dogs prepping surgeries, helping out with exams and hanging out with cats. Outside of works I enjoy writing, drawing, hunting for cursed artifacts at antique stores, playing video games, and taking pictures of cool bugs I find outside.
Ellie Shilling. I've been at Swaney Veterinary Clinic for almost two years. my duties are walking dogs and helping up front. The things I like to do in my spare time are hang out with my friends and be around my family or just be on the farm.
